Join Our Team! Project Administration and Workflow System Intern (Part-Time)

The EWB-USA project process is going digital! Over the last several months, EWB-USA staff have been working to develop the Project Administration and Workflow System (aka PAWS, pronounced “pause”).  PAWS will help meet the goals of the EWB-USA project process and enhance efficiency of submittals, reviews, information sharing and reporting. This system will provide access to project information for staff, members and the public. EWB-USA is looking for a intern to help us with development and implementation of PAWS.

DESCRIPTION + RESPONSIBILITIES

The intern will assist with data entry, data organization, task management and administrative support associated with PAWS development. The intern would need to assist with reviewing and uploading project documentation, developing cloud-based file structures, summarizing data in Excel and generating documentation to communicate the system to our organization’s membership.

QUALIFICATIONS + REQUIREMENTS

The intern must possess:

  • Strong experience working in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Drive;
  • Proficiency in data entry and management;
  • Experience with basic programming (strongly preferred);
  • An excellent familiarity with technology solutions and basic databases;
  • The ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under deadlines;
  • Confident, professional, enthusiastic and ethical;
  • A strong ability to work independently within a teamwork ethos;
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment; and
  • Experience with the EWB-USA project model (strongly preferred).
WHO AM I ACCOUNTABLE TO? WHO IS ACCOUNTABLE TO ME?

The intern will be accountable to Katrina Myers, P.E., CFM, Project Engineer.

TIME COMMITMENT + LOCATION

The intern will work 15-25 hours per week from late January through April 2016. The work hours are between 8am and 6pm Monday through Friday. We prefer that the candidate is able to work in our Denver office. This is an unpaid internship.
