Engineers Inspire us to Dream Big

“When I grow up, I want to be an engineer.”

That’s the statement you’ll be hearing from kids of all ages this Friday after they experience the premiere of the new IMAX and giant-screen film Dream Big: Engineering Our World. The film, presented by Bechtel in partnership with the American Society of Civil Engineers, takes viewers on a trip around the world to explore engineering marvels both large and small, ancient and modern. A story of human ingenuity, Dream Big celebrates engineers who build, invent and shape our world, while inspiring the youth of today to be the great minds of tomorrow.

Sounds a lot like Engineers Without Borders USA’s legion of motivated, passionate, brilliant volunteers … right? Watch closely, because you may even recognize a friend or two on the big screen.

While the visuals will undoubtedly be a feast for the eyes, don’t miss the other present cool factor. Dream Big is narrated by “The Dude,” also known as Academy Award winner Jeff Bridges. “I am a believer in encouraging our youth to make a difference in the world, and Dream Big encourages young people to do just that,” says Bridges.

The film opens in select museums and science centers around the world on February 17. Find your nearest screening and get tickets today!
