Engineers Without Borders – USA is a national, non-profit organization with a membership of over 8,000 students and professionals engaged in over 250 development projects worldwide. The EWB-USA mission, to partner with developing communities around the world to improve their quality of life and to provide training and experience to students and professionals, continues to inspire and engage people both within and outside the engineering field. With membership and chapter formation growing by leaps and bounds, EWB-USA welcomes the interest and support of corporations, foundations, and professional associations that share our goals.
The 2008 Annual International Conference is being held at the University of Washington in Seattle on March 28-30, 2008, and is the premier event for our organization. The Conference brings together members, interested professionals, representatives from businesses, corporations and foundations, internationally renowned speakers, and specialists in fields including engineering, sustainable development, public health, international studies, and many others. This energetic and multidisciplinary group gathers for three days to learn, question, debate, generate ideas, discuss possibilities, and see firsthand what is being done and what remains to be done in the developing world and here at home. Through speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions, as well as an opening night reception and final banquet, participants network with others and establish connections that last long after the event is concluded. The EWB-USA Annual International Conference also allows engineering and other firms to introduce themselves to our membership by sponsoring one or more events. Sponsorship opportunities for the EWB-USA Annual International Conference are as follows:
Title Sponsors - $25,000 - available to one corporation or individual who will be recognized as the primary sponsor of the conference. Benefits include, but are not limited to:
- Name and logo on conference materials, including the agenda and other participant materials
- Permission to include a company giveaway (i.e. bracelet, keychain, etc.) with participant materials
- Inclusion of company information with participant materials
- Name and logo on the conference page of the EWB-USA website
- Recognition in the monthly newsletter leading up to and immediately following the conference
- Name and logo displayed prominently in the registration area and on the primary auditorium screen
during breaks and at the beginning and ending of each session
Event Sponsors - $10,000 – available to up to three corporations or individuals who will be recognized as important event sponsors. Benefits include, but are not limited to:
- Name and logo included on conference agenda and other participant materials
- Name and logo on conference page of EWB-USA website
- Recognition in the monthly newsletters leading up to and immediately following the conference
- Name and logo displayed prominently in the registration area
Fare Sponsor - $15,000 - available for each of the three days of the conference to provide food and beverages for morning coffee, lunch and breaks. Benefits include, but are not limited to:
- Name and logo in multiple locations throughout the break areas on the day of sponsorship
- Name and logo on conference page of EWB-USA website
- Recognition in the conference agenda and participant materials
Friday Night Sponsor - $15,000 - available to up to three corporations or individuals as hosts of the reception and awards event at the Seattle Museum of Flight on the opening night of the conference. Benefits include, but are not limited to:
- Name and logo placed throughout the reception and on banners in the entry area
- Recognition in the conference agenda and participant materials
- Opportunity for company representatives to welcome attendees and participate in distribution of special EWB-USA Awards
Banquet Sponsor - $15,000 - available to one corporation or individual as host of the International Banquet on the second night of the conference. Benefits include, but are not limited to:
- Name and logo placed throughout the banquet and on banners in the entry
- Recognition in the conference agenda and participant materials
- Opportunity for company representative to welcome attendees
In addition to the above benefits, Title Sponsors, Event Sponsors, Fare Sponsors, Friday Night Sponsors and Banquet Sponsors also receive:
- Speaking opportunity from the podium to address all conference participants during lunch on Saturday, March 29
- Two additional tickets to attend the Awards Gala at the Museum of Flight on Friday, March 28
- Complimentary registrations for 4 company representatives. Includes all meals and the Awards Gala at the Museum of Flight
- Recognition in the monthly newsletters leading up to and immediately following the conference
- Recruiting Table at the student and professionals networking event for yourcompany materials and/or staff (includes a 6' table and two chairs)
- Company listed in EWB-USA Conference printed materials
- Announcement of sponsorship in press releases
- Sponsorship acknowledged on day-of-event Thanks to our Sponsors signage, including print materials and inclusion within looped video presentation
Champion Level Event Sponsor - $10,000. Benefits include the following:
- Speaking opportunity from the podium to address all conference participants during Lunch on Saturday, March 29
- Two additional tickets to attend the Awards Gala at the Museum of Flight on Friday, March 28
- Complimentary registrations for 4 company representatives. Includes all meals and the Awards Gala at the Museum of Flight.
- Recognition in the monthly newsletters leading up to and immediately following the conference
- Recruiting Table at the student and professionals networking event for your company materials and/or staff (Includes a 6' table and two chairs
- Company listed in EWB-USA Conference printed materials

Patron Level Event Sponsor - $5,000. Benefits include the following:
- Complimentary registrations for 2 company representatives. Includes all meals and events.
- Recognition in the monthly newsletters leading up to and immediately following the conference
- Recruiting Table at the student and professionals networking event for your company materials and/or staff (Includes a 6' table and two chairs
- Company listed in EWB-USA Conference printed materials
- Announcement of sponsorship level in press releases

Advocate Level Event Sponsor - $2,500. Benefits include the following:
- Recruiting Table at the student and professionals networking event for your company materials and/or staff (Includes a 6' table and two chairs); does not include conference registration.
- Company listed in EWB-USA Conference printed materials
- Announcement of sponsorship level in press releases

Fellow Level Event Sponsor - 1,000. Benefits include the following:

Friend Level Event Sponsor - $500. Benefits include:

Scholarship Sponsorships – These sponsorships bring both national and international students and professionals to the national conference for training. We make 20 national scholarships available at $1,000 each, and 5 international scholarships at $2,500 each. Recognition of these sponsorships will be in the monthly EWB-USA e-newsletters, in conference materials, and at the banquet when the scholarships are announced.
