EWB-USA International Conference and Your Professional Development Hours

If you are a U.S. professional engineer who is renewing your license, your jurisdiction may now require you to obtain and verify a mandatory number of professional development hours (PDH).

More than 25 U.S. jurisdictions -- states or territories -- now have continuing professional competency requirements for licensure and a few others are considering implementing this requirement within the next five years, according to the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).

The EWB-USA International Conference will feature workshops, seminars and hands-on activities that may provide you with these hours, depending on the specific requirements of your jurisdiction.  For more information please read article here.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the professional to track their professional development hours and meet the specific requirements of their jurisdiction.  Look for more information at the March International Conference in Milwaukee.
